Boer
The Boer goat is a breed of goat that was developed in South Africa in the early 1900s for meat production. Their name is derived from the Afrikaans (Dutch) word "Boer", meaning farmer. Boer goats become popular among Nepali goat framers as well .

Uprety Goat Farm
The Uprety Goat Breed Farm runs under Uprety Business PVT Ltd. The farm began its journey in 2017 to produce quality goat breeds. Currently we focus on Cross Boer breed and various types of grass . In the future the farm will also produces Sanan ( milky goat) and Khari breed. The Goat Research Program , Bandipur has listed the farm as a goat resources farm. The farm ‘s business model is provide quality Boer breed at lower cost.

Uprety Goat Farm is located Chapkobot , Nanglebhare , Kathmandu. It is about 25 KM from center point of Kathmandu. Please look map below here. The farmers find the farm for quality breed. The farm provides free consultation services such as goat house, deworming, pregnancy and other management.
